Long time gone!

Ok so I am terrible......I have not put anything on here for 2 years.  Really?  Well it has been a lot of ups and downs over the last 2 years.  3 failed IVF rounds and so much family drama I haven't even really been able to think clearly.  San Antonio was such an awesome anniversary trip and since then we haven't done any big trips.  In Dec of 2010 we went to Vegas with Dallin's family for a family xmas party.  That was a ball!  We were there for 4 days and we did a ton of stuff, all the free stuff, lol.  His family all left a day before us so we just enjoyed the day alone.  We also made a trip to New Mexico last summer (2011) to see Dallin's grandparents who race horses down there for part of the year.  That was a really fun trip.  We drove the truck down with Guyle and Sallie, it was a long drive but we made that fun too.  While we were there we went to the races, went to a few ruins and a really awesome mueseum!  On our way down we went over to the 4 corners, that wasn't anything like I had expected but so glad we went.  For our anniversary (2011) we went camping to Mayfield for a week and it rained almost the entire time.  We made the best of it though.  We have been trying to save money for IVF again so our anniversary trips haven't been as big :) So this year for our anniversary we went camping again for a week, again to Mayfield.  My family were all there this time for the 24th.  Some came and went throughout the week but Dallin and I left Saturday morning so that we weren't loading up and driving home on our anniversary Sunday.  When we got home we went to the cheesecake factory for dinner and then we watched a movie, nothing too fancy ;-) Sunday we went for a drive around the alpine loop.  I can't believe that we have been married 6 years now!  It has been the best 6 years of my life, Happy Anniversary Dallin I love you! <3

Well we are in San Antonio Texas on vacation, well I am. Dallin has to do a class for work for 4 of the 8 days we are here. So far it has been fun, we got here on Saturday afternoon and just checked a few things out. Sunday we walked all over did a few things like the ripleys museum and then a wax museum. We walked the entire river walk and went in a few shops and a few restaurants. It was great! Monday we went to Sea World and had a blast, I had to see the Shamu show twice it was so good. One time we watched to take pictures/video and then another to get wet! It was the most fun so far on the trip! We got back from there pretty late and today Dallin had his first day of class. I am just hanging out by the pool and relaxing. The temperature here has been in the high 80's but it is so humid! We walk outside and immediately get all sticky. It has been great so far and more to come, I will update when I can.

I am so bad I have not updated my blog in forever. I need to get some pictures up, I know. I have been trying to figure out how to make it easier to view and not take up so much space. My friend has been helping me learn but I am slow. I hate computers! Anyways there has been a lot going on in our lives so I haven't had much time to update anyway.

Dallin and I have been trying to get pregnant since we got married and in January we went to a consultation appointment for invitro fertilization. By this time we had tried everything so we thought this was the next step. Well we started all the shots and medicines and appointments in February. On Monday May 24th we found out that the IVF did not work. I have been so down in the dumps, I haven't wanted to see anybody. =( We know it's not the end of the world but it is still so heartbreaking for us.

Well I decided that I just needed to get out and go see my sister and her two little girls to cheer me up, so I bought a plane ticket. I fly out after work on the 3rd. I am only staying until the 8th sadly but a short visit is way better than no visit at all. I am hoping that seeing my Eskimos will help lift my spirits. I miss them dearly. Dallin will be staying home and I am a little worried about flying alone and even more about being away from him for that long. I wish he could go with me! I think this trip will be good for me in more ways than one.

On February 24th my sister and her family surprised my mom with a visit down from Alaska for 2 weeks. It was so much fun and I miss them already. I ended up with strep throat though so the last few days were limited on visits. While they were here we got to do family pictures and we went to the discovery gateway in Salt Lake (that was so fun) and then we even got to make a trip to the zoo. I saw them every chance I could though we mostly hung out at my parents house but it was so good to see my beautiful nieces again. It is hard to have them live so far away.

I can't believe it is already March. I have been naughty about posting on my blog. Well not much has happened Christmas came and went then my birthday did the same. For Valentines day Dallin and I went to Ely and then Wendover. It was a ton of fun. I won 300 dollars on the penny slots. Here are a few pics.

Finally The Floor!

We got the floor finished in one and a half days. Dallin's dad took the night off and came down and they got started that night and then Dallin took the next day off, Dallin and his dad worked on it all day. I got home and Dallin and I finished. There wasn't much left but we got it done. All we have left now is trim and decorations. Yippee!
